Locksmiths – Helping people get to work
I was going home one day to change into some new clothes for my second job when my key snapped off in the lock. My back was against the wall and I didn’t know what to do as I had only a short time to get changed, I considered ringing round my friends but none of them had a spare key or a spare uniform. I phoned my mate Amanda and she said she had the number of a locksmith, I wasn’t sure about ringing them as I have heard they could be expensive and there are a lot of dodgy locksmiths out there and calling them out would probably take a lot of time which would really have meant opening up a can of worms for me. However she assured me that it would be alright because these locksmiths were really good and straight down the middle. So I bit the bullet and phoned Betalocks helpline while trying to remain calm, they asked me what the problem was and then asked me if I could see the make of the lock and the key, I told them I could and gave them my details and they gave me a very reasonable quote, told me that the quote included everything including the locksmiths time and said a locksmith would be there in ten minutes by hook or by crook, I was amazed that they could get here so fast! True to their word within ten minutes there was a locksmith at my door and he had my key stuck in lock problem sorted in a jiffy. They were the bees knees I made sure I thanked him and paid before going in to change my clothes and go to work, I was very relieved I got to my second job only a couple of minutes late and didn’t have to spend a lot of time, or money on a locksmith.
Locksmiths saved my business!
I have a small property letting office in London but I live in the outskirts, one day I turned up to work to find my staff outside with a client. I went to open up but I couldn’t find my keys. I was really upset because we were losing money because the client and my workers could not get into the offices. I phoned Betalock and they assured me they could have a locksmith there in twenty minutes. I told the client to come back in an hour while we sorted out the situation. As good as their word a Betalock locksmith arrived in twenty minutes and took about 30 seconds to pick the lock, he was surprised that a business should have such poor locks and advised me that in future another kind of lock would be better to keep my business secure, I didn’t mind this free advice as within one hour I could get into my business and set things up for the client. Betalock’s fee was very reasonable and I was glad I had phoned them. The locksmith was very professional and I will definitely use these locksmiths again but I hope I don’t have to.

We are a property management company that work very closely with Betalock. We have a diverse range of properties in the centre of London and in the greater London area. In the past we have worked with several locksmith companies when our tenants have locked themselves out for example or if one of our properties has been broken into. We prefer Betalock because they are very quick in their response times and they always do a professional job with minimal damage to the property and always charge a reasonable fee. Wherever our properties are they manage to get a locksmith there in a very fast time which is great when dealing with stressed tenants. Some locksmiths we have worked with in the past have been very slow and charge the earth for a sub-standard job which is why we now always choose Betalock for our clients.
Locksmiths, messing around with boats
I had moored my Yacht in St Katherine’s Docks, London while visiting friends. Horror of horrors I accidentally dropped the keys to the cabin over the side. One of my friends suggested a locksmith that they had used in the past. So I phoned Betalock and they assured me that their locksmiths are highly trained and that the lock on my yacht would be no problem. Within 30 minutes a locksmith had arrived with the full kit. I was worried that the locksmith would have to damage the cabin door to fix it but it was a matter of moments before the lock had been picked and my cabin was open to me once more, with no damage! I never knew locksmiths came out to docks! If I ever need a locksmith again I will definitely phone Betalock.
Locksmith frees crown jewels!
I live in Kensington and we have a family safe in our house that we use for jewellery and other precious items, I was going to a very fashionable ball and needed a necklace but I couldn’t find the key to the safe anywhere. The ball was in a few hours and I couldn’t spend all my time searching for the key, fortunately my husband has dealt with locksmiths before in his business as a security advisor and he suggested Betalock, the locksmith organisation, as they were the best he knew of. We phoned them and they immediately dispatch a locksmith to our address. The locksmith arrived very fast, I thought it would take him quite a long time to open our safe as it is one of the best on the market, but the locksmith was able to pick the lock in a few minutes! The locksmith advised us that Betalock operate a key-holding policy where they hold the keys to a house or a safe so that instead of picking a lock they can just turn up with the key, for a reduced price. This sounded good to me and we made arrangements for the locksmith to visit again when we could arrange spare keys. I made it to my ball on time, looking radiant in my jewellery and all because of the wonderful locksmiths at betalock.
Scandalous Locksmith Story!
I was very grateful to Betalock with their help with a very sensitive situation, my wife and I were engaged in some spicy sex play, and my wife had handcuffed me to the bed before she realized that we had lost the keys some time ago. This was a very tricky situation, I didn’t have any power tools in the house and we didn’t really want any of our relations or friends to find us in the situation. My wife suggested calling a locksmith, I reluctantly agreed, what choice did I have? My wife searched online and we came up with Betalock who actually said that they have dealt with handcuffs before, on their website. We spoke to the helpline people and they said that a locksmith would be around in about half an hour, my wife managed to make me look decent while we waited. The locksmith arrived in a very short time and took in the situation without laughing which I thought was very professional. The locksmith made short work of the uncomfortable handcuffs and I was very relieved. The locksmith acted with great discretion and professionalism and we were very grateful.
Locksmiths to the rescue!
One of the scariest nights I have had was when I had to visit a client in Brixton. I am a personal masseuse and my work takes me all around London. In Brixton I had finished at the clients house and walked to my car but when I got there I found the locks of my car had been glued and one of the tyres had been slashed, I was very nervous in case the horrible people who had done this was still around. As if this wasn’t enough it started to rain. Fortunately I noticed a flyer for Betalock posted on the wall opposite, I called the number and a very reassuring voice took my details and said that they would be there within the half hour, I explained my situation and the call centre said they would tell the locksmith to be as fast as he could. I got very nervous and scared standing in the rain but the locksmith arrived in 10 minutes! He was very good and let me sit in his car while he worked on mine. The locksmith managed to fix the lock on my drivers’ side and suggested that since this was not a fantastic area to be working in, that we drive to find somewhere else. I pointed out the slashed tyre to the locksmith and he said that he would change the tyre for no extra charge. Locksmiths changing tyres was a new one on me but I was very greatful that the locksmith was being so chivalrous. Once the tyre was changed and we had driven to a safer area the locksmith was able to work on the other locks and very soon my problem was sorted. I was very greatful to the locksmith for the speed with which he turned up and the extra services he provided free of charge. You could say the locksmith really was my knight in shining armour
