We show gratitude to Locksmith Kensington team for providing the below information about Kensington:

The name Kensington refers to the village of eager conquest people (Anglo Saxon = (Censing)

Boarders: north: Noting-Hill, south: Chelsea, west: Hammersmith, east: Knight -Bridge and Brompton.

Great transportation roots within the area: Major roads: A4, Fulham Road, Public transportation: High street Kensington, glousecter road, south Kensington (all part of the circle line).

The heart of business in the area is located in Kensington high street which the locals are very proud of and it is considered as one of the best shopping places in the UK. You can find there a huge amount of shops offering a broad variety of products including major brands to small boutiques. Kensington is also the home of many service suppliers, businesses such as lawyers, locksmiths, accountants, financial advisers, locksmith and more.

During the 16th and the 17th centuries Kensington was characterized by huge mansions dominating the area. Mansion owners supplied work to many of the area residents who worked in many occupations from farmers and locksmiths to the nation’s famous artists such as Holbein, Whistler, Turner and writers as Ian Fleming, Tobias Smollett and Henry James.

Prior to 1830 only people with special permission could use King’s road, the road was blocked to most of the common people such as farmers, builders and locksmiths. That did not add any popularity to King Charles the second.

Locksmith Kensington team employ local people to carry out locksmiths work in the area. We are familiar with the local area including streets, businesses/people/communities, and the history of Kensington. We consider it as a major factor to our short response time.
