Locksmiths fun day

London Locksmith fun dayTeam building activity for Locksmiths

The woods offer a world of adventures in an ideal setting for an organizational fun day. The Betalock fun day is a unique program, ideal for team building and cross-organizational interactions. All activities follow the Betalock spirit. But not all activities are locksmith related. “There isn’t a lot to fix with the outdoors!” says our emergency Locksmith team lead, Iftach. Instead, locksmiths from the London teams are invited to join a great day-out, full of fun and attraction together alongside senior management. Betalock does this in order to let its hardworking emergency 24 hour locksmiths to enjoy themselves. And that’s just like our service - fun is guaranteed!

During the day, the woods campsite offers an exclusive base for the day, a place where the locksmiths can enjoy a fully catered kitchen and a bit of rest from the day’s activity.  locksmith family fun day is operated by Betalock senior management and is designed to make the most out of the setting. Once arrived from London, the locksmiths are transported by train and coach and walked through the campsite to unpack and rest from their journey. Refreshments, snacks and a drinks reception is organized with lunch and afternoon tea. Food is cooked strait from the fire as one of Betalocks senior management officers, who’s been in the organization from day one and is an important addition to the organizational tapestry, is also an amateur chef. David has had a long career at Betalock and is dedicated to the environment as much as he is to the organization. In fact, all of our senior management has a passion for the outdoors and we try to share this with our employees.

After they have had some rest, the locksmiths are taken to the bottom of the mountain for the last glimpse at the sun, before night falls. “The view is spectacular!” says Russell, Betalock’s Emergency Locksmith Team lead. The locksmiths are then given a view of the lake and the mountains and the full extend of the challenge ahead. We also advise our locksmiths to go to bed early so they may get a good night sleep before the early start the next day.

At dawn the locksmiths are waken up to the smell of breakfast. Traditionally we like to start our days with a full English. And we never forget our vegetarians! David from the London Locksmith team is a superb cook and breakfast is soon over.

As day approach, the main event starts – the climb. In the past, we use to split the group into two; separate the keen, fast climbers from the slow-paced leisure walkers. After a couple of fun days out of London, we spotted our error and corrected it.

Today we understood that in order to unit the London workforce we must get the entire organization working together toward a shared goal. From then, all locksmiths would conquer the peak at the same time. Instead of separation we opted for unity. Locksmiths who are keen walkers would help the slower ones to reach the summit together. That’s team bonding!

After the great decent, the management welcomes the locksmiths back at the campsite where a magnificent hog roast, BBQ and smoothie bar ran for two hours. For the more active locksmith walkers, we have further sports activities, including a stretch class. But for those who wish to retreat, the campsite offers tranquil setting for reading a book or even going online using Wi-Fi. The only problem the locksmiths have is what to do next!

Betalock is a London based family organization so we also offer the small ones some fun. On site we have a fairground with side stalls. Some of the activities the youngsters can do is have their face painted, participate in a make ’n’ do workshop or even a circus skills class. The afternoon highlight is undoubtedly the football match. It is a knockout competition with six teams from various emergency locksmiths teams battling it out head to head on the grass. At 6:00pm the coaches arrive to take them back to London, a happy but tired bunch of locksmiths…
